SHEPHERDS PIE
/ Ib. cooked mince
1 small onion, chopped
2oz. butter
1 cup stock, made from beef stock cube
salt and pepper
2 Ib. boiled potatoes
1 egg
Heat mince. Fry onion until golden brown in 1 ounce of butter. Add to mince, then stir in stock and seasoning. Place in a greased pie-dish. Mash potatoes, with the rest of the butter, then add beaten egg. Beat well. Cover mince with the potatoes and bake in a moderate oven for 15 minutes. Dot potato with butter and brown under grill after cooking. Serves 4
