1 and half lb (675g)of sugar
2 oz (60g) ground almonds
1 oz (30g) of butter
Quarter pint (150ml) milk
INSTRUCTIONS
1) Melt butter in saucepan
2) Stir in ground almonds, sugar and milk bring to the boil
3) Boil for 7 minutes, stirring well
4) Remove from heat and stir for 2 minutes
5) When thick pour into shallow buttered tin and cut when cold
